Amsterdam Sights, Sounds and Hotels
Built over 300 years ago, Amsterdam’s Royal Palace was once the City Hall, but the mayor, together with his underlings had to vacate the premises when Napoleon Bonaparte was looking for a new home and laid eyes upon the handsome building. The building remained a palace after Napoleon left, but evidence remains in the sculptures and paintings that are on show, of governmental and administrative tasks. Queen Beatrice entertains high-ranking guests in the palace, during which times the royal flag is raised and the red carpet is rolled out, but does not reside here.
Amsterdam awaits your arrival and holds a variety of experiences in store for you. Ensure that you get to visit the Amsterdam Royal Palace and make sure that you book your accommodation in one of the distinctive Amsterdam Hotels.
